Panda Care Privacy Policy

Telum Apps built the Panda Care (child app) and Panda Watch (parent app) as free applications. These Services are provided by Telum Apps at no cost and are intended for use as is.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in our applications. Because our apps are part of the Google Play Families Policy program, we take additional steps to safeguard children’s privacy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Panda Care (Child App)

• Location data (real-time GPS coordinates and geofencing status)
• Device usage statistics (screen time, installed apps, app usage activity)
• Device information (device model, OS version, unique device identifier)
• Activity and status logs (to report to the parent app)

1.2 Panda Watch (Parent App)

• Parent account details (email address for authentication and secure pairing)
• Configuration data (rules, restrictions, and monitoring settings)

2. How We Use Information

• Providing parental control and child safety features
• Displaying the child’s location and activity status to authorized parents
• Enforcing screen time limits, app restrictions, and geofencing rules
• Improving app performance and reliability (via crash logs and analytics)

We do not use any personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services for secure data storage and app functionality:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase Authentication (for login and secure pairing)
• Firebase Realtime Database / Firestore (for child/parent synchronization)
• Firebase Crashlytics (for error reporting)

These providers act as data processors and handle information on our behalf in compliance with GDPR.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Data collected from the child’s device is stored only as long as necessary for parental monitoring.

Parents can request deletion of all personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

If the parent account is deleted, all associated child data is automatically removed. We do not retain backups of deleted personal data beyond what is required for legal compliance.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our applications are designed to support families and comply with the Google Play Families Policy.

• We do not show ads or collect any data for advertising purposes.
• Personal information about children is collected only with parental consent and is accessible only to parents or guardians connected through the pairing process.
• Parents may at any time request access to, correction, or deletion of their child’s data.
